Beamish is a world-renowned open-air museum located in County Durham, England. It's known as "The Living Museum of the North" and recreates life in North East England during the 1820s, early 1900s, 1940s, and 1950s. Beamish offers a unique experience where visitors can explore different eras, visit historic buildings, see working farms and industries, and interact with costumed staff.
Edinburgh Christmas Market is in the top ten best in Europe. There is a train from Durham to Edinburgh which is about 2 hours long.
